What this site is

My name is Louis-Thomas Amédé. This site is my portfolio: the sites I have built, free guides, and a way to reach me. I work under the name HamacWeb, a business registered in Quebec (NEQ 2282397209). By using this site, you agree to what follows.

What you can do with it

Read it, share the links, use the guides on your own site, tell whoever you want. All of that makes me happy. What I ask you not to do: copy my texts, my images or my code and republish them elsewhere as your own. Write to me and we will work something out.

What the guides are worth

The guides are general information, written carefully and accurate as of the date shown on each one. The web moves fast: something true today can age. They are not advice tailored to your situation. If you want my take on your own case, write to me. It is free and I answer myself.

The forms

Whatever you send through a form lands straight in my inbox, and I am the one who answers. Please do not put anything confidential in there, like a password or a card number. What I do with your information is explained in my privacy policy.

The guide notice

If you leave your email to hear about new guides, you get one email a month, when a guide comes out. No selling, no ads. Reply with a word and it ends there.

The card game

The blackjack game on this site is for fun. No bets, no money, no prize to win, and you do not have to play to get the guides.

The sites I show

The sites in my work belong to my clients. The screenshots are published with their permission. The names, logos and trademarks that appear remain the property of their owners. Links to other sites lead to pages I do not control: what is on them is not mine to answer for.

What I do not promise

I do my best to keep this site up at all times, but it can go offline for a while, for maintenance or because of a hiccup at the host.

Changes

I can change these terms. The update date at the top of the page always tells you which version you are reading.

The law that applies

These terms follow the laws of Quebec and Canada. In case of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of Quebec have jurisdiction.
