Who I am
My name is Louis-Thomas Amédé. This site is my portfolio. For any question about your personal information, write to me: louisamede@louisthomasweb.com. I'm the one, and the only one, who handles what you send me.
What I collect
Nothing more than what you write to me yourself in one of the site's forms.
- Your name, when you send me a message
- Your email
- Your question, your message or the guide topic you suggest
- Your website address and what you do, when you ask me for your personalized guide
I use it for three reasons, not one more: to answer you, to prepare the personalized guide you asked me for, and to let you know when a new guide comes out if that's why you left me your email. I don't sell any of it and I don't trade it with anyone.
The guide alert
If you leave me your email to hear when a guide comes out, you get one email a month, when the guide drops. Nothing else, no selling. Reply with the word stop and I take you off the list the same day.
Where the messages go
The form is handled by Formspree, an American service. Your message therefore passes through servers located in the United States before reaching my inbox. Formspree has its own privacy policy, available on their site.
Cookies
This site sets a single cookie, in your browser, to remember that you've seen the cookie notice. No tracking, no advertising, no analytics. The fonts come from Google Fonts: your browser requests them from Google's servers, which then sees your IP address, as with any web resource.
How long I keep your messages
For as long as we're talking, then as long as it stays useful to serve you. You can ask me to delete everything at any time.
Your rights
You can ask me to see what I have on you, to correct it or to delete it. Write to me and it's handled, usually the same day. If you're unhappy with my answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
